Epoxy Mortar FIS EM Plus

High performance epoxy mortar for heavy duty anchoring and rebar applications

fischer epoxy mortar fis em plus is a high-quality Epoxy Mortar designed for demanding anchoring and post installed rebar applications in cracked and non-cracked concrete. It offers high load bearing performance, dependable use in seismic conditions, and strong bonding in challenging installation environments.

Epoxy Mortar FIS EM Plus is built for high-load anchoring where superior performance is essential. This advanced formulation provides exceptional bond strength in both cracked and non-cracked concrete, making it suitable for structural steel fixings, tall shelving systems, heavy machinery bases and seismic applications in categories C1 and C2. It works seamlessly with approved fischer components, including the FIS A threaded rods, RG MI internal threaded anchors and reinforcement bars, allowing variable embedment depths tailored to the requirement of each project.

The mortar is ideal for rebar connections that require deeper anchorage or wider drill diameters and can also be used safely in diamond-drilled or water-filled holes. Its approval for use in laminated timber of spruce, fir and pine enables strong wood-to-wood, wood-to-concrete and wood-to-steel junctions.

As authorised fischer dealers in India, we provide authentic fischer Chemical products and fischer fasteners to ensure durable, high-performance anchoring on every site.

Functionality

The fischer epoxy mortar works by keeping the resin and hardener separated until application. When extruded through the static mixer, the two components combine and activate. The mortar is then injected from the base of the drill hole so that it fills the cavity without air pockets. This creates full surface bonding between the anchor and the drill hole wall while also sealing the hole. The anchor is inserted manually with light rotation until it reaches the base. In push through installation, the mortar also fills the annular gap between the anchor rod and the fixture. This process supports strong, consistent, and secure fixing performance.
